Self Help for Relationships and Marriages

We got no formal training on relationships in school.  No classes on how to build intimacy, how to resolve intimate conflict, how to have love thrive over time.  So if you are on this website looking for more information about how to support your relationship, good for you!

Often times, one person in a relationship wants to improve or work on it, and the other doesn't.  That is just the way of things for many couples.  Other times, both partners recognize the need for a change and are willing to work on it.  Either way, this is a great thing.  After the initial "oceanic love" phase of a relationship wears off, there is usually a good deal of "pleasant work" that needs to be done to keep love thriving and not dying.

So if you want to work on your relationship together, you can do so.  If you want to work on it without your mate, you can do so.  The book Train Your Mate is one way to help love thrive in your relationship.   Click here for detailed information on how you can provide a lot of self help for your relationship.
